I’ve been to imkeda since around august, i got my driver’s license around 5 days ago (November) thanks to my amazing teacher Mr. Liew, although he was strict, he has always teached me all the techniques on how to pass the courses and on the road, corrected my mistakes and told me many values about driving, allowing me to pass my driving exams in 1st try, leaving time for me to come back and practice 2 days before my exam and how driving is not as easy as I thought. Though I was sad about the constant nagging, I’m very grateful to have met such a teacher to not show me any mercy and made me able to drive today. The imkeda facility is also very good clean buildings and I had never experience any delays on classes such as undang or even when its my time for learning how to drive. 10/10 would recommend.

As I was crossing the road at the traffic light, which was red at that time, an instructor driving an IMKEDA car stopped right in front of me on the pedestrian crossing meant for pedestrian. This is ironic because of who they are. Instructor who does not follow the rules. Total disregard for a pedestrian. Disgraceful!

I would recommend this place because driving instructors especially En. Hadi are very good! Always supportive, patient and great at teaching even to beginners like me. I passed my JPJ driving test thanks to En. Hadi at Imkeda Cheras! The admin staff are like Miss Ika are also very helpful and nice. Overall process was very straightforward and guided by staff from start to end.

Alhamdulillah, on 8th October 2024, I successfully obtained my DA driving license on the first try. I am deeply grateful to Cikgu Abd Hadi for his unwavering patience and exceptional guidance throughout my learning journey. His punctuality and professionalism were truly outstanding, ensuring that each lesson was productive and valuable. The Teacher was very Kind and Helpful. Additionally, The Teacher was Really patient to teach me even tho Idk how to ride a motorcycle, bicycle, Electric scooter and can't speak the Language..(language barrier issues) they still trying their best to teach me until end of the class. I finally got my driving license! 🥳 IMKEDA cheras is a very good place to learn the driving skill and I would like to express my gratitude to Cikgu Hadi! He is a very patient teacher! Even I make mistake during the driving class, he will not get angry with me and teach me patiently. Cikgu Anwar and Cikgu Fahmy really did a great job in guiding me throughout the process of getting my license. Was so nervous to get my license done but i got paired w a driving instructor named Cikgu Hadi and he was the most patient, kind, understanding, and thoughtful teacher ever! He was always on time and gave the best driving tips and he never got mad at me and taught me very well. He pointed out my mistakes thoroughly but kindly and even gave me so many helpful notes! He answers my questions very well and never made me feel stupid or belittled during the whole learning process! Truly had a wonderful time learning from him!But i believe every teacher is a bit different because during my pre-jpj test, the instructor barely paid me attention,, i passed but i didn’t know what mistakes or things i should/shouldn’t do on the real jpj test…. And he kept talking to other instructors and even belittled me which depleted my confidence so much,,, i hope i’ll do well during my real jpj… TTMy 5 stars belong to Cikgu Hadi tho, totally recommend him, hes truly a good teacher !!Update: i passed!!! (6/8/2024) Alhamdulillah, would like to share my gratitude again to cg Hadi for helping me out once again !!! He’s the best!

bad service, teacher was never on time and always delay my class not following the schedule provided. I paid for class not to wait. I follow timing stated in schedule and have to be late for other appointment when supposedly i can be on time if the teacher follow the schedule. So so bad.Update:Thank you for the office staff who handled my report regarding the teacher. I understand that some of the instructor are not under IMKEDA officially as some students do registered under agents. However, IMKEDA Cheras should think about their reputation if this kind of instructors taking advantage of taking students and not intend to teach them properly. DA class is RM1600 and it is not cheap. We paid for class and we hope in return the place that we paid for can accommodate and be much inconvenience for all people however maybe its just my luck to have an inconsiderate instructor. Do report to their office staff, they will help to find you a new one.

Bad Experience, teacher said classes start at 8, but teachers weren't starting the classes until 9. Today im taking the computer test, go to the myeg by imkeda's van. After all students finished the test, the van haven't arrived. We waited for more than 1 hour 30 minutes in this hot sunny day for the van. First time I call imkeda they said OTW. Second time i call, no answer. Im tired of waiting, imkeda need to learn time managing. (Real picture POV of us waiting in sunny day)

First of all, I would like to say a thousand thanks to Cikgu Hadi who is willing to sacrifice his time to teach me so hard which now I'm officially PASSED my JPJ test ☺️ His last day with me was the last day he worked as a driving instructor at Imkeda 🥺 I didn't have time to buy cake and coffee for him because of the lack of time at that time with him.Syukur ke hadrat ilahi, for giving me a dedicated, friendly, and certified teacher in the field of driving. Not to be forgotten, the staffs at the counter who have given good service with a beautiful sunshine smile and work so efficiently, not like what others say. Even though Imkeda has been operating for a long time and seems a little dim, however, with the presence of staff and teachers who are very kind, dedicated, friendly, tolerant, and polite, Imkeda will always be bright as a daisy.I hope many more people will come and take your license here ! Please do not pursue any interest of going to this school to be treated decently. The management was horrendous, the people handling the counters were mindless, the teachers were some of the terrible human on Earth. Sexual remarks and unnecessary commentaries. For those searching for good driving schools, GOOD LUCK because I have never heard any good experiences with ANY driving schools in Malaysia, including IMKEDA. My brother took his class here in 2015 and complained about how bad and rude the instructor are, and now ALMOST 10 YEARS LATER it is still the same with rude old teachers that have no patience!!! I have to switch teachers for every lesson and when I follow the rules and steps the previous teacher taught me, the next teacher will scold me for not following their own rules and steps leading me to be confused!! Driving instructors are ALWAYS ON THE PHONE TOO. The driving education system in Malaysia is NOT GOOD, our driving instructors are NOT GOOD. This is probably why we have high accidents rates compared to other countries. I've read serious accusations of harrasment and verbal abuse in the reviews, are IMKEDA management taking complaints seriously or are you just as lazy as your driving instructors?

Very very bad. The teacher said I should be here by 8.30 am then suddenly it changed into 1pm without even telling me. I had to wait for hours just for one hour class. Wow, so nice la 😒. Please imkeda, please improve. Don’t even come here for driving class. It’s not worth it. Waste your TIME and MONEY. And also, the teachers here are so short tempered. I came here to learn of course I’m slow at first. They got mad for no reason at all.

Worst place to learn car ever , first of all , my practice test is on October 2023 , and then the license before that I renew only till August , I guess never mind I will renew again , after that , my final JPJ exam just put me on January2024 , I wanna ask , for November and December I have total lots of time and free but this academic close without any reason ! Lastly , the driver inspector not even paying attention and focus to teach new drivers .Just keep clicking the phone and just watching you drive , and won't tells you what's your mistake and your changes .Wasting my money and time just due for no responsibility. I won't come to this place ever . Because of this reason I need to retake my exam again and waste my money and time just due to this long gap of time . I cant even change my jpj exam time to weekend. Only weekdays and I can't change to other days , such as only fixed at Tuesday but Tuesday I'm busy on my uni stuff . Can't pick Thursday or other days.

The most worst driving school I've ever been. It really took 2 YEARS TO COMPLETE my JPJ Test and all the test as well. There's different story during first inquiry and after registered waaaah totally different. I just couldn't digest the duration has taken to complete my license class. Finally, I've completed and a VERY BIG THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! for your bad service. I've given the 1 star is only just for a formality.This institution were seems of giving out an affordable price range to all type of driving license but the DRIVING SCHOOL TUTOR quality is very low, especially MINE. He been very irresponsible towards all my classes and tests. I'm as a student who needs to find after him and keep message him when is my class and tests.. That really makes me so irritates and hopeless towards the school management and tutor as well.He's an old malay tutor. Everytime he has a stupid reason to give me whenever I ask for my only WEEKEND CLASSES. The tutor has resigned by himself without letting me know ( as a student I do have rights to know about it!) Last minute, he told me that I've quit working at there, my daughter will take over your last driving class. I was like WHAT THE HELL!!!! I really control my maximum anger level just because of my incomplete of license.I'm just waiting to complete my JPJ Test to complete and pass all my test. Now, I've my license with me and I've BREATHOUT A BIG ONE, after the JPJ Officer handover my license to me. I've go through a lot of stress, anger and depression just because of this irresponsible tutor. Last friday, I've went to JPJ Office to collect my P license, it took nearly 3 hours to settle my thing over there also just because of the tutor for not giving me proper information on documents that need to bring to the Office.I've wasted my working time by sitting there and waiting for the counter to take my turn. After reach the counter, the JPJ Officer said need 3 documents to be photostated and some money to make payment on the spot. Luckily, my sister help me out with the money to pay, if not I've no idea what I've been done there. Suppose the IRRESPONSIBLE TUTOR is the one who need to let me know all these before I go to collect the license. He just let me know that 'you've to collect the license by your own from JPJ Office'.I hope/wants the IMKEDA CHERAS MANAGEMENT to read out my honest review and take action on it! I don't hesitate to share the tutor name and contact details as well for further clarification. I don't know wether he's really has quit the job or not, if he is still there PLEASE let him know about this! A very BADBYE AND THANKS!

I should read those reviews before i register to learn in this school. I am a foreigner studying here and I can say the attitude of my instructor is not appropriate at all. He is Malay. He doesn’t have any patient at all and yell at me many times, make me very nervous and embarrassed. More worse is that I got sexual harrassed by him right in the school, not just very dirty words, he touched my hands, arms and my thighs also. I can’t imagine how can he acted so unethically like that. I warned him about his behaviours many times but he didn’t care and continue to do. I was so scared and insecure whenever i go learn so I decide to report my case to a man there (maybe manager i am not sure his title), but my case now is on hold and no action was taken. It really a shame when I told about my story but i have to speak out. Please be careful to choose tutor and this school may not a good one for you to learn, I don’t mean all the tutors here are all bad. I hope the school can read it and improve about service and be noticed with my case. It’s really wasting my time and money.

The driving instructors here are rather nasty and frequently yell without cause, and the staff generally gives off the impression that they do not want to be there. Overall, 0% customer service. If you're taking motorcycle license and you see an old instructor, try not to piss him off because this person do not have an etiquette and patience and would scream/yell at you unnecessarily. I am shamed to be a Malaysian. I would not waste my energy and money here ever again.

i should have looked at the reviews beforehand. it is as bad as it says. it depends on the instructor but personally my instructor is horrible. People come here to learn they expect you to already be good at driving. Gets mad quick and for no reason at all. Strict? maybe but this is straight up bullying. Not punctual. Top of the garbage driving school. They expect you to know some skills during driving when you are there to learn. They are also very rude of the tutors and counter staff. IF you are reading this please dont ever come to this place. (Dont waste your money)
